  1. I found your blog very useful but alas I found it today. I am pleased that there is some rational and intelligent person there doing a good job.
Could you hint me what is the meaning of
    ... emerging markets at 1.5x.

    or SPX at 2x?
I would be grateful if you explain it to me.

  2. Hi anon, The forecaster trading system tracks a number of major market indexes such as S&P500, Nasdaq100,and Emerging Markets (EEM).
My daily posts indicate which index the system is following at the moment and the 1.5x...2x are the amount of leverage that I am trading with. One could adjust their exposure/leverage by investing in different ETFs with their corresponding leverages, i.e. SPY at 1x, SSO at 2x, and BGU at 3x if wanting to trade ETF's that track the SPX(S&P500). There also exist mutual funds that track these indexes, generally with 1x-2x leverage. There is a lot of information on the internet about trading leveraged entities...there are quite a few good market timing sites...but it requires research to winnow the chaff from the grain. Hope this helps a little.

  3. Thanks a lot friend. It would be nice if you could post a few more details just so that I can learn too:)
I notice that you enter or exit at the last hour. In your listing besides EEM OEX SPX etc I see SYS what is that please?
Hope you are having good time.

  4. Sys is the Forecaster system. The first group of returns are the different subsystems at the daily recommended allocations, i.e. 1.5x. The second group is using a steady 2x leverage with each days long or short call.

If you were to get the sys returns then you would switch to trading different indexes as called by the system...spx,or rut,or eem, etc. The chart is my accounting of the systems calls as applied to different indexes.

It is basically a system that generates a daily call long or short to trade a specific index at a specific leverage.
