Fridays call.

the call is long 40% emerging markets....short 60% ndx.

I will trade at 2x.

The call stands.

I am thinking of being all in at 2x for a period but allocated between domestic markets and emerging markets. This should mellow swings in returns. I have not been successful in switching between the two, so will see how this works out.

  3. Hi Jim, Good to here from you! Are you doing any trading now? It looks like Four Seasons has been flat like me for a while....Time look at some changes...I don't like to make too many changes at once, but if you remember when I posted on the Yahoo Group "Poor to Rich" I posted two systems.

  4. Thanks Forecaster,...Not so much with Stan's program,..since early Sept. I have been doing my own timing,..focus on SP500 very next day likely direction,..etc.

I visit your site every day,..and enjoy seeing what you too are up to. Never easy.

For 2010,....I would like to focus more on other asset classes,...other than equities,...specifically the US Dollar Long short, and the T-Bond,..Long and Short. Rydex has L/S funds for these.

Please email me if you come acroos any good end of day short term timing programs for the Dollar Index or for T-Bonds.

Much appreciated. Have a good day. Happy and Healthy New Year.

    Best Regards, Jim P.

  5. Hi Forecaster!

Long-time reader here. Thank you for providing this enjoyable blog.

Could you point us to where we can find managed accounts that trade strategies like yours (EOD equity)?

Also, could you point us to where we could find managed accounts that trade EOD strategies for other asset classes?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  6. One resource to comparatively look at timing strategies and companies offering them is Timertrac. I believe the subscription is $75. Here you can compare past performance of different companies and rank them over different time periods. Some of these offer managed trading accounts.
