- I originally developed this stock market timing system to trade leveraged mutual funds within a retirement account. It appeared that traditional "buy and hold" strategies would not generate the returns I desired in the time frame I needed. I wanted a mechanical trading system that took the emotion out of making decisions about the future moves of the markets. This system gives a "end of day" call for the next days market direction. On some days it requires some input from the trader as the signal may be dependent on the closing price of a particular index. It can be traded using etf's or mutual funds. ReplyDeleteNow that we are here,...my 3 week cycle date for today (wed 04-08) looks to be a HIGH. So I am in sync with your call for lower tomorrow.
Keep in mind that the day before Good Fri is seasonally strong,..but the late day rally today may have been discounting that seasonal bias.
And the day after Good Fri (next Monday) is seasonally weak.
Bottomline,..we may have topped today,..and the 04-09 could start with a move lower. Or we may have a small upmove in the morning,..and decline from there.
Either way, i expect a lower close on Thurs 04-09.
My next 3 week cycle date is Tue 04-14. (A likely pivot date, ..could be a High or a Low)
